Oregon Indie Blows Up Their Publishing Game in 20th Year

Happy New Year’s Eve Everyone!!

We’re beginning our 20th year in 2018, and upping our publishing game with accessibility, diversity, and nuclear star power.

Just wait until you see what comes next!

I've chosen this song “Love Chain” as our official 2018 20th Anniversary Anthem. Enjoy!

Love lives. Love gives. In all of us...

Meet Our New Executive Assistant ...

If you’ve followed us through the years, you met my assistant, “Book.” He was my everything. He loved working long hours in the office with me, and calmed me down when things went awry. November marks one year since I lost him.

But, we’ve been keeping a secret since summer ... the Universe brought me a 78-year-old (my mother from the east coast) and an 8-week-old.

Luckily, things have settled down since then, and I thought it was time to share my new assistant with you.

Meet “Edit”

She has brought happiness to the office, and shredded a few copies of Publishers Weekly. We reprimand her with her full name, “Editorial!”

“Puppy” — my favorite smell in the world.

Here she is meeting her big brother. It was love at first sniff.

And, here’s my beautiful girl, now. Such a good Edit! She’s seven months old in this picture. She has two funny little bundles of gray hairs on each of her shoulder blades—where they snipped her wings before they sent her down to me.

~ In Memoriam ~

This year has been horrific in many ways. We've had many heartbreaks.

We wanted to honor those we lost from our Wyatt-MacKenzie “family.”

~
Ruth, Brycen, Alan and Matilda.
You will all be missed.
